Doval Recalls Sikkim Intelligence Crisis

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval recounted a harrowing experience from his early intelligence career in Sikkim. As a young IPS officer in his twenties, he was responsible for intelligence operations along the China border during Sikkim's transition into India. An intelligence team went missing for weeks, causing immense worry. Doval later learned the team had been apprehended and interrogated by the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
