Gujarat CM Orders FIR Against Contractor For Poor Bridge Quality

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has ordered strict action against the contractor responsible for the substandard construction of a major bridge on the Karjan River in Narmada district. An FIR has been registered against M/s Royal Infra Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Surat, for the poor quality work on the Rajpipla-Ramgadh road. The bridge, built at a cost of ₹10.71 crore and completed in August 2020, was found to be unsafe for traffic after a foundation collapse and other structural damages were detected during inspection.

गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल ने नर्मदा जिले में करजन नदी पर बने एक बड़े पुल के घटिया निर्माण के लिए जिम्मेदार ठेकेदार के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया है। राजपीपला-रामगढ़ रोड पर खराब गुणवत्ता वाले काम के लिए मैसर्स रॉयल इन्फ्रा इंजीनियरिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, सूरत के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की गई है। ₹10.71 करोड़ की लागत से बना और अगस्त 2020 में पूरा हुआ यह पुल, निरीक्षण के दौरान नींव ढहने और अन्य संरचनात्मक क्षति का पता चलने के बाद यातायात के लिए असुरक्षित पाया गया था।
