Delhi's air quality has deteriorated to the 'moderate' category, with temperatures beginning to rise as a low-pressure weather system over Uttar Pradesh weakens. The city's 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 107, a significant increase in less than 24 hours. This shift follows five days of satisfactory air quality, which were aided by windy conditions and rainfall that helped clear pollutants. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts mainly clear skies and further temperature increases in the coming days, with no significant rain expected.
