Chandigarh Police Launch Anti-Drug Helplines For Tips

Chandigarh authorities have launched new anti-drug helplines for the public to anonymously report drug abuse and peddling. UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the helplines, including MANAS helpline 1933, urging citizens to be the eyes and ears of the police. This initiative follows a September 30 deadline set for ending the illicit drug trade in the city. Door-to-door surveys will also be conducted to identify individuals needing support for drug-related issues.
