Teachers' Body Urges NCTE to Protect Service Benefits Before TET

The Navya Andhra Teachers Association (NTA) has appealed to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to safeguard the service benefits of teachers appointed before the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The association also requested rationalisation of the TET Paper-II examination pattern. NTA leaders submitted a representation in New Delhi, seeking legal relief for teachers appointed through District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment. They urged the NCTE to consider teachers' experience and qualifications, and to issue clear guidelines on service continuation and promotions.

नवया आंध्र टीचर्स एसोसिएशन (NTA) ने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक शिक्षा परिषद (NCTE) से टीचर एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट (TET) से पहले नियुक्त शिक्षकों के सेवा लाभों की सुरक्षा की अपील की है। एसोसिएशन ने TET पेपर-II परीक्षा पैटर्न के युक्तिकरण का भी अनुरोध किया है। NTA नेताओं ने नई दिल्ली में एक अभ्यावेदन प्रस्तुत किया, जिसमें डिस्ट्रिक्ट सिलेक्शन कमेटी (DSC) भर्ती के माध्यम से नियुक्त शिक्षकों के लिए कानूनी राहत मांगी गई। उन्होंने NCTE से शिक्षकों के अनुभव और योग्यताओं पर विचार करने और सेवा निरंतरता और पदोन्नति पर स्पष्ट दिशानिर्देश जारी करने का आग्रह किया।
