Mysuru Youth Sensitised on HIV Prevention Through 5K Run

A 5km run was organised in Mysuru to raise awareness among youth about HIV prevention and control. The event, held on Monday, was a part of the HIV Awareness Drive-2026, following an advisory from the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) which targets individuals aged 18 to 35. Approximately 65 students from various colleges participated, covering a route through key city areas. Winners will advance to a state-level AIDS awareness programme in Davangere.

एचआईवी रोकथाम और नियंत्रण के बारे में युवाओं में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए मैसूर में 5 किलोमीटर की दौड़ का आयोजन किया गया। सोमवार को आयोजित यह कार्यक्रम, नेशनल एड्स कंट्रोल ऑर्गनाइजेशन (NACO) की सलाह के बाद HIV Awareness Drive-2026 का हिस्सा था, जिसका लक्ष्य 18 से 35 वर्ष की आयु के लोगों को शामिल करना है। विभिन्न कॉलेजों के लगभग 65 छात्रों ने भाग लिया, जिन्होंने शहर के मुख्य इलाकों से होते हुए दौड़ पूरी की। विजेता दावणगेरे में राज्य स्तरीय एड्स जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में आगे बढ़ेंगे।
