Delhi HC Asks Govt Why ESMA Not Used

The Delhi High Court has questioned the Delhi government and DTC regarding the non-application of the ESMA against striking DTC bus drivers. A division bench asked why ESMA rules were not invoked for the ongoing strike, which has caused significant public inconvenience. DTC stated that 96% of buses are back in service and a proposal for ESMA was sent to the government.
