Gujarat Grant-in-Aid School Staff Threaten Stir From Nov 25 Over Pending Demands

Employees of grant-in-aid schools in Gujarat are threatening a statewide agitation starting November 25 if their pending demands are not met by the state government. They are also demanding the cancellation of appointments to the recruitment selection committee, citing unfair inclusion of a school management association representative. The committee alleges that despite a year passing since the new council of ministers took office, no satisfactory progress has been made on long-standing issues for aided school staff.

गुजरात में सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों के कर्मचारी राज्य सरकार द्वारा उनकी लंबित मांगों को पूरा नहीं किए जाने पर 25 नवंबर से राष्ट्रव्यापी आंदोलन की धमकी दे रहे हैं। वे भर्ती चयन समिति में स्कूल प्रबंधन संघ के प्रतिनिधि को अनुचित रूप से शामिल करने का हवाला देते हुए नियुक्तियों को रद्द करने की भी मांग कर रहे हैं। समिति का आरोप है कि नए मंत्रिपरिषद के पदभार ग्रहण करने के एक साल बाद भी सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों के कर्मचारियों के लंबे समय से चले आ रहे मुद्दों पर कोई संतोषजनक प्रगति नहीं हुई है।
