Amroha to Get High-Tech Jail on 24.52 Hectares

Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district is set to get its first high-tech jail, with 24.52 hectares of land identified in the Joya block. The land, located near the district headquarters, spans the villages of Chubka, Rasoolpur, and Didoli. This development comes after a long-standing demand for a local jail, which would eliminate the need to transport prisoners to Moradabad. The state government has allocated approximately ₹17 crore for the project since 2022, but the land purchase process has been delayed due to pending proposals.

उत्तर प्रदेश के अमरोहा जिले में जॉय ब्लॉक में 24.52 हेक्टेयर जमीन की पहचान के साथ पहली हाई-टेक जेल बनने वाली है। यह जमीन जिला मुख्यालय के पास चुबका, रसूलपुर और डिडोली गांवों में फैली हुई है। यह विकास स्थानीय जेल की लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांग के बाद आया है, जिससे कैदियों को मुरादाबाद ले जाने की जरूरत खत्म हो जाएगी। राज्य सरकार ने 2022 से इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए लगभग ₹17 करोड़ आवंटित किए हैं, लेकिन लंबित प्रस्तावों के कारण भूमि खरीद प्रक्रिया में देरी हुई है।
