Forces supporting Yemen's internationally recognized government reported losing 500 fighters and sustaining 1,500 wounded in battles with the Houthi rebel movement over the past month. These clashes occurred along Yemen's southwestern coast between August 9 and September 10. A representative stated that Houthi attacks were supported by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its allies. The resistance forces have redeployed to new defensive lines to prevent encirclement.
