The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) in Kochi is considering a new app to create a dynamic bus-scheduling system for over 500 private city buses. This initiative aims to prevent reckless driving and dangerous overtaking, following repeated directives from the Kerala High Court. The current running time per kilometer, fixed four decades ago, is deemed insufficient due to increased traffic and congestion. A special committee will also be formed to streamline bus services and address unsafe driving practices.

कोच्चि का मोटर व्हीकल्स डिपार्टमेंट (MVD) 500 से ज़्यादा प्राइवेट सिटी बसों के लिए डायनामिक बस-शेड्यूलिंग सिस्टम बनाने के लिए एक नए ऐप पर विचार कर रहा है। इस पहल का मकसद केरल हाई कोर्ट के बार-बार दिए गए निर्देशों के बाद लापरवाही से ड्राइविंग और खतरनाक ओवरटेकिंग को रोकना है। ट्रैफिक और जाम बढ़ने के कारण, प्रति किलोमीटर चलने का मौजूदा समय, जो चार दशक पहले तय किया गया था, अब अपर्याप्त माना जा रहा है। बस सेवाओं को सुव्यवस्थित करने और असुरक्षित ड्राइविंग प्रथाओं को दूर करने के लिए एक विशेष समिति भी बनाई जाएगी।
