Rebel Congress Deadlock Opens Door for KC(M)

A dispute among rebel Congress leaders over the Pala municipality vice-chairperson post has created an opportunity for the Kerala Congress (M) to claim the position. The rebel councillors, who allied with the LDF to win control, have failed to agree on a candidate. This internal conflict has prompted the KC(M) to reconsider its earlier decision not to seek any posts. If the KC(M) enters the arrangement, it could strengthen the LDF's hold on the council.

पाला नगर पालिका के उपाध्यक्ष पद को लेकर कांग्रेस के बागी नेताओं में चल रहे झगड़े से केरल कांग्रेस (एम) को मौका मिल गया है। एलडीएफ के साथ मिलकर चुनाव जीतने वाले बागी पार्षद उम्मीदवार तय नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। इस अंदरूनी कलह के कारण केसी(एम) ने पहले कोई पद न लेने का फैसला बदल दिया है। अगर केसी(एम) इस समझौते में शामिल होता है, तो एलडीएफ की पकड़ मजबूत हो सकती है।
