India's opposition alliance is planning a third day of protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, demanding his resignation over alleged misconduct. Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra were detained by Delhi police for the second time on Wednesday evening while attempting to march towards Jantar Mantar. They were protesting after being blocked from meeting the Election Commission. The opposition claims Kumar is biased and aids the ruling BJP in rigging elections. Gandhi and Vadra were released later that evening.
