Maharashtra to Absorb Ex-Agniveers in Police

The Maharashtra government will induct former Agniveers into uniformed services like the police and coastal security after their four-year military tenure. The state cabinet approved a policy providing 10% parallel reservation for Maharashtra-domiciled ex-Agniveers. This initiative aims to provide employment opportunities, utilizing their military experience in state services. Former Agniveers will not need to undergo fresh recruitment examinations or training for these roles. The policy covers various positions including police constables, firemen, and forest guards.

महाराष्ट्र पुलिस में पूर्व अग्निवीरों को मिलेगी नौकरी

महाराष्ट्र सरकार चार साल की सैन्य सेवा के बाद पूर्व अग्निवीरों को पुलिस और तटीय सुरक्षा जैसी वर्दीधारी सेवाओं में शामिल करेगी। राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने महाराष्ट्र के मूल निवासी पूर्व अग्निवीरों के लिए 10% समानांतर आरक्षण प्रदान करने वाली नीति को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करना है, जिससे उनके सैन्य अनुभव का राज्य सेवाओं में उपयोग हो सके। पूर्व अग्निवीरों को इन भूमिकाओं के लिए नई भर्ती परीक्षाओं या प्रशिक्षण से गुजरने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी। नीति में पुलिस कांस्टेबल, फायरमैन और वन रक्षक सहित विभिन्न पद शामिल हैं।
