Two Held for Anti-BJP Graffiti Ahead of Amit Shah's Jalandhar Rally

Police in Jalandhar have arrested two operatives of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) for allegedly painting pro-Khalistan and anti-BJP graffiti. The slogans targeted the BJP's "Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra" and included phrases like "Nasha Wholesalers Yatra." The arrested individuals, Sukhpreet Singh and Rajdeep Singh, reportedly have criminal histories. Authorities are also investigating their alleged involvement in vandalizing a statue of B.R. Ambedkar in Hoshiarpur-15. The case involves charges under the BNS and IT Act.

जालंधर में पुलिस ने प्रतिबंधित 'सिख्स फॉर जस्टिस' (SFJ) के दो सदस्यों को खालिस्तान समर्थक और भाजपा विरोधी भित्तिचित्र बनाने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। इन नारों में भाजपा की 'नशा मुक्त पंजाब यात्रा' को निशाना बनाया गया था और इसमें 'नशा होलसेलर्स यात्रा' जैसे वाक्य शामिल थे। गिरफ्तार किए गए व्यक्तियों, सुखप्रीत सिंह और राजदीप सिंह, का कथित तौर पर आपराधिक इतिहास रहा है। अधिकारी होशियारपुर-15 में बी.आर. अम्बेडकर की प्रतिमा को नुकसान पहुँचाने में उनकी कथित संलिप्तता की भी जांच कर रहे हैं। इस मामले में BNS और IT Act के तहत आरोप शामिल हैं।
