Fuel Loading Begins At Rajasthan Atomic Power Project

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) has commenced initial fuel loading at the 700MWe Rajasthan Atomic Power Stations units RAPP-7 and RAPP-8. This marks a significant milestone for India's nuclear power programme. These indigenous pressurised heavy water reactors received clearance from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board after rigorous safety evaluations. Unit 8 is now in a crucial commissioning stage, with the next steps including criticality and power generation.

न्यूक्लियर पावर कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (NPCIL) ने राजस्थान एटॉमिक पावर स्टेशन की 700MWe क्षमता वाली यूनिट RAPP-7 और RAPP-8 में शुरुआती ईंधन लोडिंग शुरू कर दी है। यह भारत के परमाणु ऊर्जा कार्यक्रम के लिए एक बड़ा कदम है। एटॉमिक एनर्जी रेगुलेटरी बोर्ड से सुरक्षा जांच के बाद इन स्वदेशी प्रेसराइज्ड हैवी वॉटर रिएक्टर्स को मंजूरी मिली है। यूनिट 8 अब महत्वपूर्ण कमीशनिंग चरण में है, जिसके बाद क्रिटिकैलिटी और बिजली उत्पादन होगा।
