Lucknow Municipal Corporation Boosts Civic Works Funds in Revised 2026-27 Budget

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation's executive committee has approved a revised budget for 2026-27, significantly increasing allocations for essential civic works. Funds for drain maintenance and construction have risen from Rs 30 crore to Rs 50 crore, while road maintenance funding increased from Rs 296 crore to Rs 326 crore. The budget also doubles the provision for the CM Grid scheme and substantially raises funds for Kalyan Mandaps and parking maintenance. Public works, including infrastructure projects, have received Rs 1,319 crore.

लखनऊ नगर निगम की कार्यकारी समिति ने 2026-27 के लिए संशोधित बजट को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसमें ज़रूरी नागरिक कार्यों के लिए आवंटन में काफी बढ़ोतरी की गई है। नालों के रखरखाव और निर्माण के लिए फंड 30 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 50 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। वहीं, सड़क रखरखाव के लिए फंड 296 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 326 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। बजट में सीएम ग्रिड योजना के लिए प्रावधान दोगुना कर दिया गया है और कल्याण मंडपों व पार्किंग के रखरखाव के लिए फंड में भी काफी वृद्धि की गई है। सार्वजनिक कार्यों, जिसमें इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स भी शामिल हैं, के लिए 1,319 करोड़ रुपये रखे गए हैं।
