Phulbani Medical College Hospital To Open In Phases By March

The teaching hospital of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati Medical College and Hospital in Kandhamal district is set to become operational by March next year. Health officials recently inspected the campus and reviewed preparations for shifting services to the new facility. The hospital will open in phases, starting with a casualty unit, followed by medicine, psychiatry, and dermatology services. Surgery, operation theatre, and ICU facilities will be introduced later, with other specialties to follow. This phased launch aims to strengthen medical education and specialist healthcare services in the region.

कंधमाल जिले के स्वामी लक्ष्मणानंद सरस्वती मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल का टीचिंग अस्पताल अगले साल मार्च तक चालू हो जाएगा। स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने हाल ही में परिसर का निरीक्षण किया और नई सुविधा में सेवाओं को स्थानांतरित करने की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। अस्पताल चरणों में खुलेगा, जिसकी शुरुआत ट्रॉमा यूनिट से होगी, इसके बाद मेडिसिन, साइकियाट्री और डर्मेटोलॉजी सेवाएं शुरू होंगी। सर्जरी, ऑपरेशन थिएटर और आईसीयू की सुविधाएं बाद में शुरू की जाएंगी, और अन्य विशेषज्ञताएँ भी इसके बाद आएंगी। इस चरणबद्ध लॉन्च का उद्देश्य क्षेत्र में मेडिकल शिक्षा और विशेषज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को मजबूत करना है।
