To manage the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season, Northern Railway has decided to significantly increase special train services. This year, the railway plans to operate over 6,200 trips, a 30% rise compared to the 4,666 trips operated last year. Additionally, 42 new trains have been regularised and will contribute 2,600 trips to the total.
