China's yuan experienced its largest daily drop in six months against the US dollar on Tuesday. This decline followed the PBOC announcement to raise the foreign exchange reserve requirement ratio for financial institutions by 2 percentage points to 6%. The move aims to tighten foreign exchange liquidity and signal concerns over the currency's rapid appreciation. Analysts believe this will moderate the yuan's pace of strengthening, which had gained significantly in October due to robust exports.

मंगलवार को चीन का युआन अमेरिकी डॉलर के मुकाबले छह महीने में सबसे बड़ी गिरावट दर्ज की गई। यह गिरावट PBOC द्वारा वित्तीय संस्थानों के लिए विदेशी मुद्रा आरक्षित आवश्यकता अनुपात को 2 प्रतिशत अंक बढ़ाकर 6% करने की घोषणा के बाद आई। इस कदम का उद्देश्य विदेशी मुद्रा तरलता को कसना और मुद्रा की तेज मजबूती पर चिंताएं जताना है। विश्लेषकों का मानना है कि इससे युआन की मजबूती की गति धीमी हो जाएगी, जो मजबूत निर्यात के कारण अक्टूबर में काफी बढ़ गई थी।
