Villupuram District To Assess Infrastructure Needs Across 2,286 Rural Habitations

An assessment of infrastructure requirements in 2,286 rural habitations across Villupuram district will be conducted from October 7 to 17. The Tamil Nadu Village Empowerment, Transformation and Rejuvenation Initiative (TN-VETRI) will cover 688 village panchayats in 13 unions. Residents will accompany assessment teams to identify gaps in roads, water, sanitation, and community facilities. The exercise will also evaluate needs for parks, playgrounds, markets, and modern amenities like EV charging stations.

विल्लुपुरम जिले की 2,286 ग्रामीण बसाहटों में बुनियादी ढांचे की ज़रूरतों का आकलन 7 से 17 अक्टूबर तक किया जाएगा। तमिलनाडु विलेज एम्पावरमेंट, ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन एंड रिजुवेनेशन इनिशिएटिव (TN-VETRI) 13 यूनियनों के 688 ग्राम पंचायतों को कवर करेगा। निवासी सड़कों, पानी, स्वच्छता और सामुदायिक सुविधाओं में कमियों की पहचान करने के लिए आकलन टीमों के साथ रहेंगे। इस अभ्यास में पार्कों, खेल के मैदानों, बाजारों और EV चार्जिंग स्टेशनों जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाओं की ज़रूरतों का भी मूल्यांकन किया जाएगा।
