Telangana BJP Chief Detained En Route To Meet

Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao was detained by police in Jadcherla while heading to meet farmers protesting water shortages at the Priyadarshini Jurala Project. The BJP condemned the action, stating their president intended to show solidarity and understand farmers' concerns. Mahbubnagar MP D.K. Aruna also criticised alleged house arrests of local BJP leaders and demanded immediate water release to save standing crops.
