Former India batter Mohammad Kaif has questioned the decision to select Sanju Samson over 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for the first T20I against Afghanistan. Sooryavanshi had impressed on the recent tour of Zimbabwe, earning Player of the Series. Samson, returning to the squad, scored only 10 runs. Kaif believes this selection shows team management's uncertainty about their opening combination, potentially confusing for the young player.
