Arjun Rampal Quit Rang De Basanti After Shooting For Days

Actor Arjun Rampal has revealed he walked out of the film 'Rang De Basanti' after shooting for a few days. Rampal was considered for the role of Karan Singhania, which was eventually played by Siddharth. He stated that the director, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, appeared very confused about the script and his vision for the character. Rampal mentioned that he had blocked his dates for three months and lost out on other work due to the project's uncertainty. He expressed that working with a confused director was not feasible.

एक्टर अर्जुन रामपाल ने बताया कि उन्होंने 'रंग दे बसंती' फिल्म की कुछ दिनों तक शूटिंग करने के बाद फिल्म छोड़ दी थी। रामपाल को करण सिंघानिया के रोल के लिए सोचा गया था, जो बाद में सिद्धार्थ ने निभाया। उन्होंने कहा कि डायरेक्टर राकेश ओमप्रकाश मेहरा स्क्रिप्ट और अपने कैरेक्टर के विजन को लेकर बहुत कन्फ्यूज्ड लग रहे थे। रामपाल ने बताया कि उन्होंने तीन महीने के लिए अपनी डेट्स ब्लॉक कर दी थीं और प्रोजेक्ट की अनिश्चितता के कारण उन्हें दूसरे काम भी गंवाने पड़े। उन्होंने कहा कि कन्फ्यूज्ड डायरेक्टर के साथ काम करना संभव नहीं था।
