Amazon Opens First Varanasi Fulfilment Centres

Amazon has launched its first fulfilment and sort centres in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, ahead of the festive season. The new fulfilment centre offers a storage capacity of one lakh cubic feet, while the sort centre spans 13,000 square feet. These facilities aim to expedite deliveries in Varanasi and surrounding areas, creating hundreds of local jobs. This expansion is part of Amazon's nationwide network growth, which includes 20 new fulfilment centres and 150 last-mile delivery stations.
