Telangana has achieved the third position nationally and first among southern states for GST revenue growth during the April-October period of 2026-27. The state recorded a significant 13.8% increase compared to the previous year, excluding VAT and professional tax. Only Assam and Uttar Pradesh showed higher growth rates nationally.
