US Vice President JD Vance has expressed doubt regarding the Pentagon's plan to livestream the execution of the Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan. Vance stated he was unsure if the livestream would actually occur and that he would not watch it if it did. Hasan fatally shot 13 unarmed US soldiers and injured 32 others at Fort Hood in 2009. His execution by firing squad would mark the first military execution in over 60 years. Vance described Hasan's actions as the worst terrorist attack on American soil outside of 9/11.
