Afghan Woman First Terrorist Deported By US Court

Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan-origin woman, has become the first alien terrorist deported by the US Alien Terrorist Removal Court, established in 1996. Zada, a Green Card holder in Texas, supported an ISIS-inspired mass shooting plot for Election Day 2024. Her son and son-in-law were previously convicted for their roles. Zada conceded she is an alien terrorist and waived her appeal, leading to her removal.
