Karnataka Legislative Council Polls See High Turnout

Polling for the Karnataka West Graduates and North-East Teachers constituencies concluded peacefully across 11 districts on Friday. The West Graduates Constituency recorded a 75.62% voter turnout, while the North-East Teachers Constituency saw a higher 86.97% participation. A total of 97,400 registered voters were eligible in the West Graduates segment, with 73,658 exercising their franchise. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and former Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti were among those who cast their votes. Counting is scheduled for October 27.

शुक्रवार को कर्नाटक की पश्चिम स्नातक और उत्तर-पूर्व शिक्षक सीटों के लिए 11 जिलों में शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से मतदान संपन्न हुआ। पश्चिम स्नातक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में 75.62% मतदान हुआ, जबकि उत्तर-पूर्व शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में 86.97% लोगों ने वोट डाला। पश्चिम स्नातक सीट पर कुल 97,400 पंजीकृत मतदाता थे, जिनमें से 73,658 ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया। केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी और पूर्व परिषद अध्यक्ष बसवराज होरट्टी भी वोट डालने वालों में शामिल थे। मतगणना 27 अक्टूबर को होगी।
