Ganjam district administration has cancelled the leaves of government employees and ordered them to report to work due to a deepening weather system over the Bay of Bengal. The system is predicted to intensify into a cyclonic storm and approach the Odisha coast by Monday morning, with the IMD issuing a red alert for heavy rainfall in Ganjam. Preparations include readying shelters for 1.5 lakh people and deploying disaster response teams.

बंगाल की खाड़ी में मौसम प्रणाली के गहराने के कारण गंजाम जिला प्रशासन ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों की छुट्टियां रद्द कर दी हैं और उन्हें काम पर रिपोर्ट करने का आदेश दिया है। इस प्रणाली के सोमवार की सुबह तक एक चक्रवाती तूफान में बदलने और ओडिशा तट की ओर बढ़ने की भविष्यवाणी की गई है, जिसमें IMD ने गंजाम में भारी बारिश के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। तैयारियों में 1.5 लाख लोगों के लिए आश्रय तैयार करना और आपदा प्रतिक्रिया टीमों को तैनात करना शामिल है।
