The state counsel requested time to file objections based on parity with a co-accused granted bail on June 23. Verma's plea was posted for September 23. However, he is unlikely to be released even if granted bail, as he remains in custody for other cases and is detained.

इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने नोएडा में अप्रैल में हुए मजदूरों के विरोध प्रदर्शन से जुड़े मामले में पत्रकार सत्यम वर्मा की जमानत याचिका पर सुनवाई टाल दी है। राज्य के वकील ने कहा कि एक सह-आरोपी को 23 जून को जमानत मिली थी, उसी के आधार पर आपत्ति दर्ज कराने के लिए समय चाहिए। वर्मा की याचिका पर अब 23 सितंबर को सुनवाई होगी। हालांकि, अगर जमानत मिली भी तो उनकी रिहाई की संभावना कम है, क्योंकि वे अन्य मामलों में हिरासत में हैं।
