Army Veteran Held For Plotting Cousin's Wife Murder Over Land Dispute

Gurgaon police have arrested three men, including a former Army man, for the murder of a 34-year-old woman. The victim, Neetu, was found dead at her home with her hands tied and mouth taped. Police allege her husband's cousin, Sandeep, masterminded the killing due to a land dispute after Neetu convinced her husband to return an advance payment. Sandeep, who was court-martialled in 2023, allegedly hired two associates from Roorkee to carry out the murder. The incident sparked protests in the village demanding swift arrests.

गुरुग्राम पुलिस ने एक पूर्व आर्मी मैन सहित तीन लोगों को 34 वर्षीय महिला की हत्या के आरोप में गिरफ़्तार किया है। पीड़ित नीतू का शव उसके घर से मिला था, जिसमें उसके हाथ बंधे हुए थे और मुँह पर टेप लगा था। पुलिस का आरोप है कि नीतू द्वारा अपने पति को एडवांस पेमेंट वापस करने के लिए मनाने के बाद, उसके पति के चचेरे भाई संदीप ने ज़मीन विवाद के चलते इस हत्या की योजना बनाई थी। संदीप, जिसे 2023 में कोर्ट-मार्शल किया गया था, पर आरोप है कि उसने हत्या को अंजाम देने के लिए रुड़की से दो साथियों को काम पर रखा था।
