BJP Leader Ravneet Bittu Detained For Protesting

BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu was detained by Ludhiana Police on Saturday for protesting with eggs and tomatoes as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's convoy passed. This action followed Bittu's allegation that AAP workers attacked his cavalcade with stones and eggs near Batala a day earlier, damaging two escort vehicles and a jammer vehicle. Bittu, grandson of former CM Beant Singh, was travelling to Pathankot for a BJP anti-drug yatra.

बीजेपी नेता रवनीत सिंह बिट्टू को लुधियाना पुलिस ने शनिवार को हिरासत में ले लिया। वे पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान के काफिले के गुजरने पर अंडे और टमाटर लेकर विरोध कर रहे थे। इससे पहले, बिट्टू ने आरोप लगाया था कि आप कार्यकर्ताओं ने बटाला के पास उनके काफिले पर पत्थर और अंडे फेंके थे, जिससे दो एस्कॉर्ट वाहन और एक जैमर वाहन क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए थे।
