The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has requested further amendments to the revised design of the proposed double-decker flyover and underpass at Bakhtawar Chowk. Officials want to optimize space for a six-lane underpass and ensure smooth traffic flow between Sector 47 and Medanta Medicity. The Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) submitted a revised design on October 1, incorporating the six-lane underpass requirement. However, GMRL faces practical challenges due to the limited width of connecting roads, impacting the feasibility of accommodating six lanes.
