FICCI Urges Dutch Investment in India's Manufacturing and Tech Sectors
Business Standard · business
Industry body FICCI has called for increased Dutch investment in India's manufacturing and technology sectors, proposing joint ventures and technology partnerships. FICCI Secretary General Anant Swarup highlighted the potential of Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal's visit to the Netherlands to foster specific projects by connecting businesses and government agencies. The chamber seeks progress in manufacturing collaborations, supply chain integration, and supplier development programs for Indian MSMEs. The Netherlands is already India's fourth-largest FDI source, and an India-EU FTA could further deepen these economic ties.
