NCERT to Launch New Course For Teachers To Teach Multiple Languages

In line with the National Education Policy's three-language formula, NCERT is developing a new course to train teachers in multilingual pedagogy and applied linguistics. This initiative aims to address concerns about finding educators proficient in various languages, including regional and foreign ones. The program will equip teachers with the skills to teach grammar, language structure, and the process of language acquisition. The goal is to create a cadre of teachers capable of fostering practical language skills in students, enabling them to speak, write, and understand diverse languages effectively.

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के त्रि-भाषा सूत्र के अनुसार, NCERT बहुभाषी शिक्षाशास्त्र और अनुप्रयुक्त भाषाविज्ञान में शिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक नया कोर्स विकसित कर रहा है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य विभिन्न भाषाओं, जिनमें क्षेत्रीय और विदेशी भाषाएँ शामिल हैं, में कुशल शिक्षक खोजने की चिंताओं को दूर करना है। यह कार्यक्रम शिक्षकों को व्याकरण, भाषा संरचना और भाषा अधिग्रहण की प्रक्रिया सिखाने के कौशल से लैस करेगा। लक्ष्य ऐसे शिक्षकों का एक समूह तैयार करना है जो छात्रों में व्यावहारिक भाषा कौशल को बढ़ावा देने में सक्षम हों, जिससे वे विभिन्न भाषाओं को प्रभावी ढंग से बोल सकें, लिख सकें और समझ सकें।
