Orange Line Metro Trial Run Starts

Trial runs for the Beleghata-Sector V stretch of Kolkata's Orange Line Metro are set to begin, coinciding with Mahalaya. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is the implementing agency for this section. If trials are successful and clearances are obtained, passenger operations could commence by Christmas. This extension will add three new stations: Gour Kishore Ghosh, Nalban, and Sector V, significantly increasing the operational length of the Orange Line to over 14 km.

ऑरेंज लाइन मेट्रो का ट्रायल रन शुरू

कोलकाता की ऑरेंज लाइन मेट्रो के बेलेघाटा-सेक्टर V खंड के लिए ट्रायल रन महालया के साथ शुरू होने वाले हैं। रेल विकास निगम लिमिटेड (RVNL) इस खंड के लिए कार्यान्वयन एजेंसी है। यदि ट्रायल सफल होते हैं और क्लीयरेंस मिल जाते हैं, तो क्रिसमस तक यात्री संचालन शुरू हो सकता है। इस विस्तार से तीन नए स्टेशन जुड़ेंगे: गौर किशोर घोष, नलवन और सेक्टर V, जिससे ऑरेंज लाइन की परिचालन लंबाई 14 किमी से अधिक हो जाएगी।
