Kerala Panchayats Oppose Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Dog Shelters

Two panchayats near Thiruvananthapuram have opposed the Corporation's plan to house stray dogs caught in the city within their areas. Kuttichal panchayat issued a stop memo for a private shelter holding around 200 dogs, citing cruel living conditions and lack of proper licensing. Karumkulam grama panchayat also previously opposed a shelter, which was promised to be moved within six months but has not been.
