Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vivek Bhagat, a 2018-batch IPS officer, is facing allegations of sexual assault from three women journalists during recent protests in Delhi. The journalists were protesting against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The Delhi Police have received three complaints and transferred them to the Crime Branch for inquiry. Despite the allegations, Bhagat was promoted to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police.
