Retired IAS Officer Dinesh Kumar Takes Charge As 12th PRC Chairman

Retired IAS officer Dinesh Kumar has assumed charge as the Chairman of the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC). The commission is tasked with examining salary revisions for State government employees. Mr. Kumar, a 1983-batch IAS officer, previously served as Chief Secretary to the State government. The government officially constituted the 12th PRC on October 1, mandating it to submit its report within one year after a detailed study. Representatives from government departments and employee associations have met with the new chairman.

सेवानिवृत्त आईएएस अधिकारी दिनेश कुमार ने 12वें पे रिवीजन कमीशन (PRC) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में पदभार ग्रहण कर लिया है। इस कमीशन का काम राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन की जांच करना है। 1983 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी कुमार पहले राज्य सरकार के मुख्य सचिव रह चुके हैं। सरकार ने आधिकारिक तौर पर 1 अक्टूबर को 12वें पीआरसी का गठन किया था, और इसे एक विस्तृत अध्ययन के बाद एक साल के भीतर अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपने का निर्देश दिया था। सरकारी विभागों और कर्मचारी संघों के प्रतिनिधियों ने नए अध्यक्ष से मुलाकात की है।
