CPI(ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya has accused the Election Commission of India (ECI) of making a mockery of the Constitution. He cited a voter verification survey in Bihar which found at least 17% error in Special Intensive Revision (SIR) deletions and 18% in pre-SIR deletions. The survey identified 1,550 alive voters wrongly deleted during SIR and 351 before it. Bhattacharya questioned the transparency of constitutional bodies amidst economic crises and called for accountability.

भाकपा (माले) लिबरेशन के महासचिव दीपांकर भट्टाचार्य ने भारत के चुनाव आयोग (ECI) पर संविधान का मज़ाक उड़ाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने बिहार में एक मतदाता सत्यापन सर्वेक्षण का हवाला दिया, जिसमें विशेष गहन संशोधन (SIR) में की गई 17% और पूर्व-SIR में 18% त्रुटियों का पता चला। सर्वेक्षण में SIR के दौरान गलती से हटाए गए 1,550 जीवित मतदाताओं और उससे पहले हटाए गए 351 मतदाताओं की पहचान की गई। भट्टाचार्य ने आर्थिक संकट के बीच संवैधानिक निकायों की पारदर्शिता पर सवाल उठाया और जवाबदेही की मांग की।
